Our Integrated Plants
The first step was taken with our integrated plants located in the district Şerefli Çiftliği, in the town Çorlu of the city Tekirdağ, on a land of 500 thousand square meters, in 1975. The plant was equipped with an oil tank of 40 thousand tonnes and filling and discharging pumps. Our integrated plants have been launched gradually during the years 1982-1985 and become one of the few modern plants of our country, specialised in its field.
Our integrated plants have the capacity to process yearly 180.000 tonnes of sunflowers, produce 120.000 tonnes refined oil, 30.000 tonnes of margarine and 144 thousand tonnes of feed. In our advanced and modern plants, which conform to the requirements of the era, we carry out environmental friendly production with the effluent treatment channel.
Karacabey Oil Factory
The extraction plants located in the district Karacabey close to the city Bursa were established by a private industry company, purchased by Trakya Birlik in 1976. The factory having a sunflower processing capacity of daily 100 tonnes launched the production during the business years 1977-78. The factory’s capacity was expanded with diverse attachments and unit instalments, so that a mixed feed plant with a production capacity of 350 tonnes/day was established.
Trakya Birlik’s Karacabey Oil Factory servicing the cooperation located mainly in the Marmara Region has a yearly sunflower processing capacity of 80.000 tonnes, a production capacity of 27.000 tonnes/year and a professional feed production capacity of 100.000 tonnes/year. The effluent treatment channel ensures an environmental friendly production.
