Birlik Tohum was established on April 20, 2009 under the partnership of Trakya Yağlı Tohumlar Tarım Satış Kooperatifler Birliği (The Union of Agricultural Sales Cooperations for Oil Seeds) and 6 Oil Seeds Agricultural Sales Cooperation within the union. Birlik Tohum, which has been established based on one hundred per cent domestic capital is active in the field of the supply of sunflowers, other oil seed plants, grains, seeds of field and feed crops, which is the main activity of Trakya Birlik; their supply from local and foreign sources, their research, production and marketing.
